Innsbruck Corpus of Middle English Prose

The Innsbruck Corpus of Middle English Prose, part of the Innsbruck Computer Archive of Machine-Readable English Texts (ICAMET), is a compilation of 129 works of Middle English prose, digitised from extant editions. The corpus lends itself to comparative linguistic analysis, especially as prose texts usually employ a less stylised language than do texts in verse. Featuring complete texts rather than extracts, the corpus is particularly suited for studies of style, rhetorics, and narrative technique.
