A Corpus of English Philosophy Texts (CEPhiT)

The Corpus of English Philosophy Texts (CEPhiT) is the second part of the Coruña Corpus of English Scientific Writing (CC). CEPhiT has been compiled for the description of English Philosophical writing between 1700 and 1900, both from a synchronic and a diachronic perspective. Each text file is accompanied by a metadata file containing information about the text sampled and its author’s sociolinguistic background. Metadata files are also used to select the texts to work with using the Coruña Corpus Tool (CCT).
